Caerphilly Homes, Housing Repair Operations (HRO) and the Planned Asset Management Strategy (PAMS) teams have the following apprentice opportunities:
Electrician 2 positions Fixed Term until 01/09/2026
Plumbers 2 positions Fixed Term until 01/09/2026
Carpenter 4 positions Fixed Term until 01/09/2025
Plasterer 2 positions Fixed Term until 01/09/2025
The vacancies are ideally suited to first and second year students who can demonstrate a commitment to their trade and now require practical experience. The work involves repairs and refurbishment of the Council’s current 10,660 housing stock.
Subject to successful completion of all pre-employment checks the apprenticeships would ideally commence in September 2022.
